If you have gum disease, Dr. Gabriel Boustani is our practice’s periodontist. He is well educated in his specialty as he graduated from both the University of St. Joseph’s dental school in 2000 and Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Boustani earned his doctorate in dental medicine at Boston University. He then earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontology and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. As he continued to study how to treat gum diseases, he went on to earn the designation as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. This distinction demonstrates his commitment to studying the subject because it shows he has surpassed the usual educational benchmarks for his specialty, periodontics.
Along with periodontics, Dr. Boustani has also studied implant dentistry and how it can provide solutions for periodontal disease. He continues his implant education in the United States, as well as around the world. He put his knowledge to work by helping implement techniques for digital and guided 3D implant surgery. Dr. Boustani also keeps up on the latest findings and techniques for periodontal regeneration.
He has professional affiliations with the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Association, and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Boustani resides in Newton with his wife and their two sons.
