Dr. Blissett is a graduate of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree with honors and received the American College of Dentists Outstanding Leader Award for exemplary ethics and professionalism. Subsequently, he received a Master of Medical Science degree from Harvard Medical School and a certificate of advanced graduate study in prosthodontics from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. The faculty awarded him the prestigious Joseph L. Henry Award, an honor given to one resident at Harvard each year. This commendation recognizes the resident who demonstrates exceptional clinical and research skills and makes noteworthy contributions to the university. He graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology.
Dr. Blissett currently holds a part-time academic appointment at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he lectures and provides clinical instruction to both pre-doctoral students and post-doctoral residents in the prosthodontics department. He has expertise in all phases of prosthetic dentistry, with a particular interest in complete oral rehabilitation, esthetic dentistry, and dentures.
