Dr. Iman S. Labib joined Dental Partners of Brookline in 2001 after receiving her D.M.D. Certificate of Advanced Studies in Endodontics, and Master of Science in Dentistry from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She lectured on her research study titled “Allerginicity of gutta-percha and the potential sensitization from latex products.” Her training has covered all advanced aspects of conventional and surgical endodontics including the use of high-tech instruments and the microscope, digital radiography and 3D imaging
For the past few years, Dr. Labib had been a clinical instructor in the Department of Endodontics at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine on both pre-doctoral and postdoctoral levels. She presented a one-day continuing education course at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in March 2005 titled “Cutting Edge Endodontics.”
Dr. Labib has been working extensively in the Greater Boston area and is highly regarded. She has received “Top Dentist” award by Boston Magazine in 2017, 2018, and 2019
Her professional affiliations include an active membership in the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Association of Endodontists. She is also a fellow of the prestigious International College of Dentists.
She served as past president of the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists and past president of the Boston University Endodontic Alumni Association.
Dr. Labib has been in private practice since 1989 after receiving her B.D.S. and Higher Dental Diploma in endodontics and restorative dentistry from Cairo University in 1989 and 1992 respectively.
